Free Workshops on Stress in School
Open to All
1.5 SCECHs / CEs per session

Giant Step 2020 is cancelled,
but we're still here to help.

Giant Step Teen Conference is a free, annual workshop for 300 teens from throughout metro Detroit. For 39 years, Giant Step has brought teens together from different backgrounds to get to know each other. We help them meet, talk and share. They enter as strangers and exit as friends.

While the teens are in discussion, the school counselors, teachers and principals who bring them attend a professional development session.

Sadly, we can't hold the teen portion of Giant Step this year. Covid-19 is too dangerous. But we can offer these virtual CE and SCECH workshops to all the school professionals working heroically to teach during a tough school year.

Thanks to the generosity of PNC Bank, both sessions are free. PNC is covering the $10 fee per person as a thank-you to the wonderful professionals who captain our schools. Space is limited. Sign-up now.
