We invite you to join us and enjoy outstanding performances by Maestro Valery Gergiev and Maxim Vengerov with the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra in the following program:

TCHAIKOVSKY
Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35
Maxim Vengerov - violin
Marios Papadopoulos - conductor

MENDELSSOHN
Symphony No. 3 in A minor, Op. 56, 'Scottish'
Valery Gergiev - conductor

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our debut performance at Carnegie Hall on Monday, May 4th has been rescheduled to next year, on  Monday, June 7, 2021.
Please Save the Date and plan to join us for a spectacular evening of music-making when Maxim Vengerov will play the unforgettable Bruch Violin Concerto.   Following the concert we have planned a special seated  benefit dinner in the Rohatyn Room.

In place of the Carnegie Hall concert scheduled for tonight, Maestro Marios Papadopoulos would like to offer these two filmed concerts from our archives to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

Like all orchestras, the Oxford Philharmonic is facing an existential threat with all of its concerts cancelled for the foreseeable future during the quarantine.  We would be most grateful for a donation in the amount of your choice, but hope that you might consider a donation in the amount of a ticket to the Carnegie Hall concert and gala dinner.

At this time we hope you will support the Orchestra with a donation of your choice.  We greatly value your support  CLICK HERE TO DONATE

Thank you for your many messages of support and we look forward to being together again soon for wonderful evenings of brilliant music-making and transatlantic friendship. In the meantime, please join us for the upcoming virtual concert.

Stay safe and well.

With my warmest best wishes,
April
