PHILIP HOWARD

Philip Howard, a pianist and composer, entices listeners to a journey of self-discovery with his performances and recordings.

Philip is interested in finding subtleties in relationships, emotions, psychology, and the mystical dimensions of nature. He wishes to express these “thingsinbetween” as music and enrich our connections with ourselves and each other.

Born in Switzerland, Philip moved to Boston at age 23 to fulfill his lifelong dream to study film scoring at Berklee College of Music. After graduating with the highest honors, he started his own company - The Right Music - providing music and sound services for film and video, as well as recording and producing music for other artists. It was the recent addition of a baby grand piano to the home he shares with his wife Nancy, that has rekindled his desire to write and perform his own music.

When not sitting at the piano, Philip can often be found with his feet in the ocean, sharing great wine and conversations with friends, or sharing his love of live theater and film with Nancy.
