The Morning Star Weekly Newsletter Vol 5, Edition 36 5/11/2021
Dear Morning Star Families and Friends,

Thank you so much for your generous donations toward Teachers Appreciation Week last week. This is the time of year Morning Star Teachers really need a week full of goodies and surprises. Your support
and the recognition you gave your child’s teacher means so much, especially during this unprecedented time. Morning Star would not be the school we are if it were not for the dedication of our teachers. Thank you for making them feel so special.

Support Plans will go home this Friday. Please return the portion that indicates if you would like a conference or not on June 1st. Support Plans are designed to show where your child is working independently and with teacher prompting in the classroom. It will indicate whether the student has mastered certain objectives in the first and second school semesters within individual subjects.

Blessings,
Elaine Shott, Principal

WE NEED PRIZES AND AUCTION DONATIONS!
Thank you to all who have donated items! Games and Silent auctions are a great way to maximize revenue for our school. And, no event would be complete without fun prizes and a few tables filled with exciting auction packages. Items such as travel/dining experiences, sporting event tickets, beauty and spa certificates, sports memorabilia, music and entertainment venues, family outings, technology, gift baskets, jewelry and high-end items are just a few ideas. And of course, monetary donations are always appreciated. No item is too small or too large. We will put anything you provide to good use.

In addition to items your family donates, please ask the businesses you frequent to also help out. Click HERE to print a “Community Partner” letter that you may use when speaking to a business. Please make sure to also complete a donation form so we can thank you (and others) properly. Click HERE to print the donation form.
