The Full Moon on October 31 @ 10:49 am (EST) will be in Bharani Nakshatra (Aries)
The Full Moon is in the Moon Mansion of Bharani and the zodiac sign of Aries. Venus and Yama, The God of Death, are the rulers of this month's Full Moon.
Yama is not just "The God of Death" but also responsible for the seed of new life. The October 16 New Moon guided you to go "Back to the Drawing Board" to review the life you planned. Yama was responsible for planting that seed.
Being ruled by Venus, Bharani is the foundation of Venusian energy among the Nakshatras, giving it tremendous occult knowledge. This star's main symbol is the yoni or female sexual organs, which signify creativity, sexuality, and the cycle of birth and death. Just like the womb where Yama planted your seed, Bharani is a sacred place of nurturing and growth.
Our Full Moon this month is a Blue Moon as in "Once in a Blue Moon." It's when 2 Full Moons happen in one month. Although not as rare as one would think, Blue Moons happen on average every 2 1/2 years. However, a clear visible Full Moon across all US times zones on Halloween night has not happened since 1944.
Everyone in the entire US will be able to view the Full Moon in its fullness. Quite significant when we look at some of the messages of the evening.
- The "Day of the Dead" with the veil so thin you could slip back and forth between worlds?
- Time rewinds for daylight savings time
- Halloween, where people disguise themselves to receive treats.
- During Mercury Retrograde, where crucial conversations need to be revisited
- During Mars Retrograde, where the action is internal
When the night transitions into the day, it will be "Hallows Day," honoring all those who died living a sacred life.
Our Earth, much like the womb, is fertile ground for us to live, breathe, and, most importantly, to love one another's sacred life that they had planned.
Our Full Moon is offering us a sacred evening to see through the veil and what we have let slip away. To turn back time and finally take our masks off and have compassionate conversations about how we will nurture and grow "The Sacred Life," we planned together.
Above & Below the Clouds
The Sun is debilitated in Swati, while his Beloved Moon reflects sacred safety and nourishment from Bharani. We can see this as a nation taking action to create safety and nourishment amongst a world grappling with a pandemic and political leaders out of control. With the election just a few days away, sides are biting and fighting about whose agenda is more important.
The only agenda to subscribe too is all Life is Sacred.
With both Mars and Mercury retrograde, conversations and actions must start with oneself. Be careful and compassionate with yourself as Venus in Virgo is in a debilitated state, and this may come across as devaluing self-talk or projecting it on to others.
Jupiter and Saturn have Pluto between them, so expansion and structure lead us individually and our world into a transformation. Like birth this transformation is painful and messy. Much like our presidential election, Neptune has a hold on Rahu & Ketu in blinding confusion about which way do we go.
