WINTER UNIFORM REMINDER

Please note that after Fall Break, starting on Monday, October 24, students will no longer be able to wear shorts to school, as we shift to our winter uniform dress code. Please refer to the Student Handbook if further clarification is needed.

PSAT TESTING

Trinity School will administer the PSAT to all sophomore and junior students on Wednesday morning, October 12, during the first four school periods (approximately 8:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m.). The test serves as preparation for the SAT and, in the case of junior students, as a qualifying test for the National Merit scholarship competition. Students need to bring two #2 pencils and their calculator (TI-84 or equivalent) to the test. Students can also bring a simple snack to eat during break. If you have questions, please reach out to Dr. Brian Peterson at [email protected]

FALL VISIT OPPORTUNITIES

Do you know a family who is considering Trinity School? Invite them to visit us this fall! Here is a sharable list of all of our upcoming visit opportunities for prospective parents and students. We are also hosting an Open House event on Saturday, October 30, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Please share these opportunities with others, and reach out to Josh Caneff, director of admissions, at [email protected] with any questions.

JUNIOR DRAMA PRODUCTION I

Romeo & Juliet

Join us on Wednesday, October 19th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Greenlawn auditorium. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Students in our junior class will bring you the classic tale of Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers in their production of Romeo and Juliet. The play is set in 16th-century Verona, Italy, and follows the bloodthirsty feud between the Montague and Capulet families. Filled with daring swordplay, passionate trysts, and a tragic conclusion, it’s no wonder this story has captivated audiences worldwide for centuries. This event is free and open to the public, so invite your friends and family. This is the first of two Shakespeare productions being offered by the junior class this fall.

HARVEST PARTY

The Harvest Party for grades 9-12 will be held at the Trinity School Athletic Center on Saturday, October 29, from 8:00 - 10:30 p.m. More information will be shared via email as the date approaches.

Trinity School is excited to announce a new partnership with Notre Dame Federal Credit Union. ELEVATE is a stewardship program offered by Notre Dame FCU that will allow members of our school community to direct funds to Trinity School simply by setting up a Notre Dame FCU account (or by using an existing Notre Dame FCU account), and taking a few simple steps on behalf of Trinity School at Greenlawn.

Click through to read about how this program works, and how ordinary banking activities through your Notre Dame FCU account can benefit our school. One example: by replacing your current debit card with a special SCRIP debit card, 1% on every signature transaction you make will be directed to Trinity School. Taking out a new auto loan through Notre Dame FCU is another possible way to support us, as 1% of the total loan amount will be donated to Trinity School at Greenlawn.

There are no fees, extra costs, or strings attached to this program, either for individuals who participate, or for us as an institution. Moreover, participation is very simple. You can start any time by taking the steps outlined on the page linked below. Please reach out with questions to Pat Kottkamp, executive director, at [email protected].

Trinity School at Greenlawn is grateful to be able to offer financial aid to 70% of our students. This is possible thanks to the generosity of many people who support us in large and small ways. Let's all take advantage of this opportunity to support our mission!
