THREE THINGS TO KNOW FOR SUNDAY!

ONE: we will have one service at 10:00am THIS Sunday, January 30.

TWO: we will gather in the Fellowship Hall after service to talk about our gifts and how we are called to use them this year!

THREE: we will start Jelly Week!

read on below for more info!
Let's talk about using our gifts!

After the 10am service this Sunday, we invite you to join us in the Fellowship Hall to talk about the gifts the Holy Spirit has given us!

This gathering will help us work towards our goal of each trying 2 new things this year: something new at Grace and something new in the community (or, telling others about what we're already doing outside these walls!).

We'll chat about what new things we are being called to try and share our experiences of being part of God's work in the world.

We'll also get info on the ministries of Grace and have a chance to start filling out our Time and Talent surveys.

If you’re unable to join us Sunday, don’t worry! Time and Talent surveys will be sent out as a special e-news as well.
Many of you have volunteered over at HOPE food pantry, and you've seen just how much food can go out in a week! There's usually a great variety of fresh and non-perishable items, which is wonderful, as HOPE can meet a variety of dietary needs.

But did you know that HOPE almost never gets donations of jelly or jam? What's a PB&J without the J?! What's a morning biscuit without some delicious fruit spread?! We want to share this sweet treat with our neighbors, and so this coming week, January 30 to February 6, will be Jelly Week!

For Jelly Week, we invite you to pick up an extra jar or two of your favorite jam or jelly during your grocery shopping. Then, drop the jars off in the Fellowship Hall (we recommend bringing them on Sunday the 30th or 6th). After February 6th, we'll take them over to HOPE, where they will be shared with neighbors from far and wide.

Thank you for taking part in this effort to bring a bit of sweetness to those around us!
LAST WEEK FOR SUBMISSIONS

This year, the Outreach Committee is continuing our updated grant program, the Outreach Partnership Grant. Grace has long supported giving to the needs of the community, as well as connecting with our neighbors, because we believe we are called to serve our neighbors, following the example of Jesus.

This Partnership Grant program enables us to do just that, as well as to have a greater and more intentional impact on and with our community. Through this program, we partner financially and experientially with local non-profit organizations which serve to assist those in need in greater Rock Hill and York County area.

Each year, Grace will make Partnership Grants to local non-profit aid organizations. As part of this partnership, a member of Grace’s Outreach Committee will work with each recipient organization to facilitate a partnership plan for that year, centering on ways that Grace can learn about, connect with, pray for, support, and work alongside the organization, its staff, and its clients. It is our hope that through this partnership, we will all grow in community.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS A SUCCESS!

There will be many ways to be a partner with these organizations throughout the year, but first, we have to find our partners. The Outreach Committee invites you to submit the names of local non-profit aid organizations that might benefit from our partnership and funding, especially at this time. We will be collecting names through January, and in February, we will begin contacting organizations to invite them to apply for a Partnership Grants.

To submit an organization's name, please click HERE.

For more information, please contact Pr. Rachel or any member of the Outreach Committee.
