The chair of the trustees, Randy McDowell is making plans to help prepare the parsonage for the Krost family.  It will include some cleaning and painting and minor repairs.  Jie and I will be moving out June 10, and the Krost family will be moving in June 16, so all the work will need to be done between Thursday, June 11 and Monday, June 15.  Please let Randy know if you are willing to help...contact the church office and leave a message for him.

Prayers are welcome for Bill Skaggs.  Bill has COVID-19 and is critically ill.  He is the brother-in-law of my brother Steve.  Steve has been sharing the preaching on our Sunday videos and was the preacher in yesterday's video.

Tomorrow is May Ray Day.  And while I've never heard of it, it sort of makes sense.  It is the "unofficial" first day of spring.  And since we've had several snowfalls and freezes since the "official" first day of spring, I guess it's a good idea to pick a safe day to let down our guard cut loose with planting and gardening and sunbathing.  Someone decided May Ray Day would be May 7...I don't know who. But it seems more sensical than saying spring beings at the vernal equinox.  So...plan to do something springy tomorrow!
