JHII COVID Relief Update: Supporting Assistance Centers in West Bengal & Jharkhand
With contributions from the Johns Hopkins India Institute (JHII) community and others, Child in Need Institute (CINI) has been able to set up 25 COVID Assistance Centers in hard-hit communities across West Bengal and Jharkhand.

In the past week alone, more than 20,000 people have visited the Centers for counseling, testing, meal kits, and PPE. The Johns Hopkins Maternal and Child Health Center (MCHI) is assisting CINI with logistics and developing educational materials.

AIIS awards junior fellowships to Ph.D. candidates for dissertation research in India for up to eleven months. Senior fellowships are awarded to scholars who hold the Ph.D. degree for up to nine months of research in India. Performing and Creative Arts Fellowships are also available.
