IN-PERSON WORSHIP

Sunday worship services are held in our sanctuary at 9am and 11am. You can prepare for worship by listening to the setlist on Spotify!

Masks are optional. There is a marked "masks required" section in the front right of the sanctuary for those who don't wish to sit with unmasked attendees.

ONLINE WORSHIP

You can join us virtually via our live-streamed service at 9am on YouTube or Facebook, or watch the service on either platform later!

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Newborn-Preschool: Class is available during both services. Upon drop-off, parents/guardians and children receive wristbands with matching numbers. Parents supply their wristband to pick up their child at the conclusion of the service. 

Kindergarten-Grade 5: All kids will begin in the sanctuary for worship with their parent/guardian and will be dismissed to the CE Room after the Congregational Prayer.

Grades 6-12: All youth will begin in the sanctuary for worship with their parent/guardian and will be dismissed to the Large Youth Room after the Congregational Prayer.

MOURN WITH THOSE WHO MOURN

Please join us in praying for the loved ones of Dorothy Gish, a beloved active member of the BIC family who passed away on Monday. Pray especially for Fellistus Munakombwe and family as Dorothy was Fellistus' "American mother" and a grandmother to their daughter.

We invite you to also remember Verna Schwartz, whose cousin passed away recently, in prayer.

MISSIONS SUNDAY

OFFERING UPDATE

Every year, we take a special Missions Offering, which is used primarily to provide a love gift to all of the missionaries sent out from our church (with a small portion given to BIC World Missions). Since we started collecting this past Sunday, we've reached and surpassed our goal of $12,000 for this year! Praise the Lord!

Together, we've given $12,597.16, and we're not done yet! Each of us is encouraged to ask God for direction in what we are to share in order to support and bless our missionaries. You can still give your Missions Offering online, in the box in the lobby, or by mailing a check to the church (marked Missions Offering) through the end of November.

PASTORAL STAFF VACATIONS

Pastor Patty will be on vacation November 12-17. If you need assistance, please contact the church office or one of the other pastors!

PRE-COUNCIL MEETING

This year's Pre-Council Meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 30 at 6:45pm (after the Community Meal) in the Sanctuary. The purpose of this meeting is to engage in an initial discussion about the 2023 HBIC Budget. The information packet will be available soon!

There will be no Kids Club, Youth Group, Prayer Meeting or Adult Study on this night. If you need childcare, please sign up here in advance!

YOUTH CHRISTMAS PARTY

All youth grades 6-12 are invited to join us for our Youth Christmas Party on Friday, December 2 from 6-9pm in the Youth Room and Open Area. We will have food, games and prizes! An entree will be served, so youth don't need to eat dinner before arriving. Please sign up here to let us know you plan to come and to sign up for an item to bring to contribute to the meal. Reach out to Pastor Brie with any questions/comments!

CHRISTMAS DECORATING

The Worship Arts Team will be decorating the church for Christmas on Saturday, December 3 at 10am and could use your help! This is a job for you even if you don't have a creative eye...if you can follow directions, come lend a hand! We'll have some snacks and drinks for volunteers. Please let Pastor Hannah know if you plan to help out or if you have any questions.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

CHRISTMAS PARTY

Our annual Women's Ministry Christmas Party is back! Women ages 18 and older are invited to celebrate the birth of our Savior together on Saturday, December 10 at 4pm. Bring your favorite appetizer or cookie to share. We will also exchange white elephant gifts (a recycled gift or a new gift worth $10 or under). Women's ministry will provide a hot chocolate bar! YOUTH OUTDOOR PARTY

All youth are invited to join us for our fall Outdoor Party tonight, November 12, from 6-9pm. Our party will be held at the Brotherton's home. We will play some of our favorite outdoor games, make a craft and have s'mores by the campfire. We're asking each youth to bring a food item to contribute. Chili is a part of the sign-up so there will be enough food to be your dinner! Sign up here to let us know what you plan to bring.

Weather depending, plan to bring a winter jacket, gloves and hat. You could even bring a blanket to have while sitting by the fire. For those who would like to participate in our craft, there will be gift card prizes for the competition winners!

YOUNG ADULT "FRIENDSGIVING"

All young adults are welcome to join us for a "Friendsgiving" celebration on Saturday, November 19 at 4:30pm. We will celebrate an evening of food and fellowship hosted by Cate and Aidan Lewis! We are requesting that everyone bring an item to contribute. Please sign up to let us know what you plan to bring. Registrants will be sent the Lewis' address closer to the date.

THANKSGIVING MEAL KITS

DISTRIBUTION

Each year, we supply kits for Thanksgiving meals to members of our community. 

Volunteers are needed to pack the kits on Friday, November 18 and distribute the kits on Saturday, November 19. Sign up here or at the info desks in the Sanctuary if you can help!

CLASSICS CHRISTMAS PARTY

The Classics (a fellowship group for those ages 55 and older) Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, December 3 at 12pm in the CE Room. Please sign up for an item to bring at the info desk in the Sanctuary!
