Dear Friends,

We are excited to be resuming in-person outdoor worship in the Fellowship Garden at church on Sunday, August 2, at 8:30 am. We put together the video below to give you a "walk-through" of what it will be like to gather in a way that is safe and worshipful.

In next Tuesday's Daily Bread email, we'll provide a link to preregister for the worship service via SignUpGenius. Please include all members of your family who plan to attend. If you have trouble registering, please call the church office or Madeline Weston's cell phone. For those unable to attend the outdoor service, we will still offer the virtual worship service on our YouTube channel that will come out on Saturday night as usual. Thanks for staying connecting via worship with our family of faith in this time of a physical distancing!

After you watch it, here are a few more details to keep in mind.
  •  We encourage you to arrive early for the service - we'll be there and ready to welcome you at 8 am! The service will begin at 8:30 am and will be 30 minutes in length.
  • The service will include scripture, songs, prayers and a sermon. We will not be able to audibly sing together, but Peggy will lead us from the front. Worship leaders will wear face shields and remove masks only while leading their portions of the service.
  • We will pass the peace using American Sign Language as we do in the online service.
  • We will not be able to receive a plate offering or share communion.
  • Everyone will be required to wear a mask and practice physical distance.
  • Please BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair)
  • Ushers will guide and seat us through a single entrance off of Greenleaf into the Fellowship Garden - there will be hand sanitizer available, we'll check your temperature and we'll have extra masks if you need one.
  • The church building remains closed but can be available for an emergency bathroom break.
  • If there's inclement weather, we will cancel the service and inform all who have signed up.

I hope you're holding up ok, friends. My daily prayers are with you - for peace, strength, hope and courage in these days. Don't lose hope.

With gratitude in Christ,
Pastor Jeff
