FAQ's

LOCATION

  1. ALOA Training Facility, 1471 Prudential Dallas, TX 75235, 214-819-9733.
  2. We share the building with another tenant so parking is extremely limited…..we recommend you use the shuttle provided by the hotels (most have them) or find a way to carpool with other students. We have only 2 or 3 spaces in front of the building and then space for 2 or 3 cars curbside. If you park in the spaces designated for our other occupant, you will likely be towed. Again, most area hotels offer a shuttle service for drop off and pick up and can either be pre-arranged or on-demand.
  3. We are located 1.6 miles from the Dallas Love Field Airport or 17.7 miles from the Dallas/Ft. Worth Intl Airport.

HOTEL

  1. Remember to secure and confirm your own travel and lodging arrangements. This is your responsibility. ALOA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BOOKING YOUR HOTEL.
  2. There are several hotels in the area available to secure your lodging:

  3. For residents of Louisiana or Alabama that require the CLL for licensing, you will be taking the "CLL" (Certified Licensed Locksmith) examination for licensing testing in your state, instead of the AFL exam., and so the timeframe for Sat is only ½ day.
  4. Testing will be conducted on Saturday morning. The general test administered will be the ALOA Fundamentals Locksmith (AFL) exam which is specific to this training. Should you require the licensing test for the states of Louisiana, Alabama, Illinois, this can be substituted for the AFL easily with prior notification to the same email addresses posted in #4.
  5. You will be notified by email of a Pass or Fail grade within 3 to 4 weeks.
