Devotional Podcasts

Due to technical difficulties, I was not able to record a devotional today that doesn't sound like speaking in tongues.  And as the Apostle Paul writes, if one speaks in tongues, an interpreter should be present to explain what it means.  I know what it means...but cannot get my recording devices to work properly so YOU will know. I'll be back up and running by Monday.

Daily Update

We are seeing churches in our conference work together these days to support one another in doing ministry.  In addition to our own church providing video technology for Sidell, Chrisman, and Kincaid United Methodist Churches, our annual conference is providing financial support to all churches in the annual conference that have paid their apportionments.

I have asked our finance chair to apply for that money for our own congregation (it will be somewhere between 2 and 5 thousand dollars).  The money, issued as a loan, will be forgiven at the end of the year for all churches that pay their apportionments, which we are expected to do.
