Dear Roslyn Families and Staff,
Please be reminded that New York currently has a list of states and territories on its quarantine list, which can be found via the following link:
All individuals traveling to or returning to New York from states with increasing rates of COVID-19 are required to self-quarantine for two weeks.
In order to reopen our schools safely, we will require families to adhere to this advisory. Please pay close attention to your travel locations and dates to ensure that you will be able to start school on time. As local conditions today permit, we are planning some type of in-person classes on September 3, 2020. Students and staff who have traveled to a state on the list would need to start quarantining on August 20, 2020.
We have worked diligently to design a reopening plan that meets the needs of all our students and staff, and its success is dependent on everyone in the community doing the right thing for the common good.
