"And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8b
Senior Sunday

On Sunday, June 28, we will celebrate our high school seniors. The seniors and their immediate families will be invited to join us for worship (in a socially distant manner), where they will be wrapped in their senior quilt and sent with a blessing. This service will be live streamed to the congregation.

Directly following worship, from 11-11:45am, we will have a parking lot celebration for the seniors . Each graduate will set up a spot in our north parking lot and members of the congregation are invited and encouraged to drive through the parking lot to share greetings, congratulations and warm wishes. We hope you will join us.

The seniors pictures are featured below.

A huge thank you to Nancy Kirkpatrick, who made all nine quilts for our seniors!

Phase 2 Update

In light of King County moving into Phase 2, Messiah is currently evaluating and working to implement policies and practices that will allow some re-opening of the building at a date to be determined in July. Currently, the building remains closed except for those leading worship and facilitating the two community meals and the Wednesday morning foodbank.

On June 18, the State of Washington published a document entitled, “Phase 1, Modified Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 Religious and Faith-based Organization COVID-19 Requirements.” It is available on our website at www.mlcauburn.org . Messiah leaders and staff will continue to utilize and put into practice the requirements published both by the state and our own King County. Watch for details about re-opening plans in the Messiah Weekly, on our church website, and through social media.
Weekly Storytime with Savannah and Traci!!

Continuing this week, Traci and Savannah are going to be hosting a Weekly Storytime over Zoom every Monday at 3:30pm and Wednesday at 6:30pm. As with previous Storytimes, Traci and I will pick out a story to share and all are welcome to join and listen in. We hope to see you there!

In addition, if any of your kiddos are interested in having separate Zoom check-in's with me or Traci, let us know! We miss all of you and would love to catch up with how your families are doing!
Worship Bulletins

We are going to postpone the worship service in the parking lot for the near future. It was very difficult to see the screen.

The worship bulletins that are sent out electronically on Saturday are printable from your home computers. When you receive the email, open it and press "ctrl p" on your keyboard and it will print.

On Thursday afternoons, we will place pre-printed bulletins in the Messiah Lending Library (the box pictured in this article). It is located on H street outside the kitchen. Please feel free to stop by and pick one up if you do not have a computer or printer at home.

Please contact Tia Monsen if you have any questions.
