Operating Virtually Requires Us to
Fall Back to Basics!
A special committee was requested to address unit concerns on how to operate virtually with most schools offering virtual learning for students and the inability to operate in a school building. This special committee encompasses BOD members, diverse communities, representatives of our regions, and council presidents who have been seeking and leading guidance in their respective areas. The charge of this special committee was to create guidance documents and recommendations for local unit operations due to COVID-19. The special committee members are listed below.

This resource guide covers a wide range of topics to assist in your success this school year as we operate virtually.

What are we doing about Reflections this year?

While our world seems to be changing daily, one thing that remains constant is PTA Programs.

Now is the perfect time to kick off your 2021 Reflections Campaign and encourage your students to participate. Visit our website for up-to-date information regarding promotion, publication, rules and entry forms.

This year we are thrilled to provide options to our local units to submit their entries physically, as has been done in the past or online via Google Form.

However you choose to submit, know that Virginia PTA and our Arts in Education Chair remains committed to your success and will offer support as needed.
