Greetings!
Hi! You may have noticed that in recent months the subject of my monthly newsletter has been a single word. In addition, I have striven to have all articles in that month’s newsletter to be focused on that particular word. For instance, music, peace, service, friends.
So of course, this month having a holiday revolving around giving thanks (okay, and food too!), this month's newsletter subject and focus is gratitude. Hopefully that doesn't mean you wait until just this one month or holiday out of the year to feel and express gratitude!
This year 2020 surely has been unique, and a challenge in many ways for just about everyone globally. So you might have found yourself stretching to see the blessings in your life, to feel gratitude towards people or situations. But really, some are quite apparent for all of us. Like... I am grateful for complete strangers who are showing me respect and consideration of my health by wearing masks. I am grateful for the grocery store employees who are risking their own health to show up for work so that I can have food in the refrig, not to mention TP in the bathroom! And, I am grateful for the nurses and other healthcare workers who are on the frontlines, who are going far beyond the call of duty by holding the hands of others' dying loved ones so that they are not alone. There are so many other people I am grateful for directly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Do you feel gratitude for them too?
And then, there are my usual reasons for being grateful (good health, financially secure at the moment, roof over my head, etc.) and the people in my life. I am grateful that these days, however tenuous at times, I believe and rely on a Power Greater than Myself that is always present and has a plan. I am grateful.

People Making a Difference
A Heartwarming Thanksgiving Story
These days Rob Adams is a successful real estate agent in Utah. But when he was 11, his family lived in Texas and experienced homelessness. They lived in the back of a pickup truck and many days Rob’s main meal was his school lunch.
Now in his 40s, he has been making good on his promise that he would help others as he and his family had been helped just before Christmas that year.
This story of thoughtfulness, kindness, and generosity brought me to tears. In a world that often seems so hard and cold, and people so focused on themselves, my heart was touched once again. People really do care, and we easily relate to the same circumstances since we are all human beings.

I trust you enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday, one quite different from last year and probably the one to come. 2020 has flown by despite the circumstances we have had to endure, and now we find ourselves on the precipice of a year that was historic in a variety of ways.
As you move into the holiday season, again surely to be unique, may you feel gratitude in your heart—you made it through 2020! As the lyrics state in the uplifting video below “There are a million things I can be grateful for… Everything is a blessing, and I am grateful for it all.”
Blessings and cyber hugs,

You, Me, and Spirit
I was a devout atheist until 30 years ago when I "came to believe" in a Power greater than myself. Thanks to hearing the novel idea (well, at least it was to me!) that one could choose their own concept of God--and name too (Spirit, The Great Mystery, All That Is, etc.)--and the workings of synchronicity, I embarked on a new way of thinking, a new way of living, a new way of being in the world and with others. It impacted all aspects of my life and relationships.
Since that time of commencing my conscious spiritual journey, I have endeavored to remember The Presence in all that is, all whom I meet, and all that I do -- including working with clients in my own business and in the corporate world. I strive to be of service and to nurture the human spirit in all environments.
