Today, the Republican National Committee (RNC) announced a seven-figure ad buy calling out Joe Biden's failed, divisive policies and touting Republicans' optimistic, unifying vision for our nation's future. The 30 second ad running on national cable networks features remarks made by Republican Senator Tim Scott.

"Joe Biden has offered nothing but divisive partisanship and failed policies," said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. "With Americans more divided than ever thanks to his failed leadership, the Republican Party is proud to offer a better vision for America, which is why we are bringing our conservative message of unity and prosperity to the national airwaves. Our winning Republican agenda will triumph over Democrats' politics of division and lead our nation towards a better, brighter future."
"I have never been more confident in the American family," said Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.). "Republicans have proven to the nation that conservative solutions and commonsense policies could lift millions out of poverty, create a more inclusive economy, and chart a direct path to the American Dream. Joe Biden has released a massive budget that calls for $6 trillion in federal spending this year, an unhinged-from-reality progressive wish-list.

Biden’s budget will raise taxes on the middle class by allowing President Trump’s tax cuts for low- and middle-income Americans to expire.
- Included in Biden’s budget:

Federal debt as a share of the economy would rise to its highest level in history by 2024, eclipsing a World War II-era record.

Debt held by the public will rise to 117 percent of GDP by the end of FY 2031.

This budget would add $1.3 trillion to the deficit over the next decade - the national debt would be $39 trillion by 2031.

Spending would increase to $8.2 trillion, more than double what it was in any year of the Obama Administration.

Federal spending would exceed $45,000 per household.

Biden’s budget requests no new funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) at a time when border crossings are at a 21-year high, an insult to our Border Patrol officers and immigration officials.

When accounting for inflation, Biden’s budget cuts defense spending.

Biden’s budget would use taxpayer money to fund abortions, a policy that a majority of Americans oppose.

At a time when energy and gas prices are surging, Biden’s budget seeks to place $146 billion in taxes on traditional energy.

The budget includes the permanent extension of new Obamacare subsidies, which mainly benefits the rich.

Biden’s budget calls for radical health care proposals including the creation of a public option, but the White House failed to estimate how expensive they are, hiding the real cost to taxpayers.

Bidenomics are a Recipe for Disaster
Trillions in new spending, trillions in new taxing, trillions in new borrowing, and now the most expensive budget proposal in American history – Biden’s economic policies are out of control. Biden’s far-left, radical, and careless approach to fiscal policy endangers the well-being of American workers and families.
What you need to know:

Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus contained a blue state bailout that left states like Ohio behind.

Only 7% of Biden’s $2.25 trillion in supposed “infrastructure” spending is allocated toward the priorities Americans recognize as infrastructure.
- Biden’s $6 trillion American Bankruptcy Plan includes $3 trillion in tax hikes.
- Higher taxes would slow economic growth, discourage investment, and kill job creation as we are coming out of the pandemic.
- For stronger economic growth, Biden should lower taxes and end burdensome regulations – instead, he’s doing the complete opposite.
- Consumer prices have jumped 4.2% over the 12-month period ending in April.

86% of Americans are reporting rising prices on goods as diverse as groceries, gas, dining out, and clothing, and many Americans are limiting their spending as a result.

Black and Hispanic Americans are more likely to report higher costs.

Since Biden’s election, gas prices have surged nearly a dollar higher per gallon on average, with many areas of the country seeing even higher increases. Gas prices are at a 7-year high for a Memorial Day weekend.
- Housing has become less affordable. A National Association of Homebuilders reports shows new home prices have increased by $36,000 due to skyrocketing lumber prices.

Former Obama economic advisor Larry Summers agrees Biden’s inflation is a real threat: “This is not just conjecture. The consumer price index rose at a 7.5 percent annual rate in the first quarter, and inflation expectations jumped at the fastest rate since inflation indexed bonds were introduced a generation ago. Already, consumer prices have risen almost as much as the Fed predicted for the whole year.
- On Day One in office, Biden crushed thousands of jobs – many of the unionized – when he halted construction on the Keystone XL Pipeline.

But now, about 4 months later, Biden handed Vladimir Putin a major strategic win by waiving sanctions on the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
- Under Joe Biden’s leadership, pipelines are cancelled for Americans and greenlit for Russians.
The bottom line:
Biden’s left-wing economic agenda is wrong for Americans everywhere. As our country recovers from the COVID-19 economic downturn, the last thing we need is more spending, higher taxes, and inflationary price increases – a hidden tax on Americans. It’s becoming clearer by the day that Joe Biden is taking orders from the far left liberals of his party.
