What's at the Heart of a Downtown?
A lifetime ago (pre-Covid!), the Partnership ran a survey* asking residents what drew them to (or back) to Vergennes. The shortest, most pointed answer summed it up in 3 words:
Lifestyle. People. Restaurants.

Others shared their love of the local shops who greet you like an old friend and neighbor. The number of services in the one square mile of Vergennes is an envy of cities throughout America.

Ultra-Local is the Way to Go during these trying times and beyond. Stay connected by practicing the practice of social distancing in a comfortable, friendly setting - downtown Vergennes!
This week's Seven Days newspaper article, "Parks and Rest" also featured Vergennes businesses including LuLu Ice Cream , Strong House Inn , Sweet Charity , Daily Chocolate , and 3 Squar es too.

Yes, the Lights are ON!
The Little City has turned on the lights and you can now feel the rush of the Falls every night throughout the summer in technicolor! It's the fastest way to engage in the present; yet another treasure to behold in Vergennes.
