Hello!

The big week is here! After a tumultuous year of not knowing whether the fair would happen, how the kids would sell their animals, what this might mean for future projects, here we are. We’ve finally arrived at the best possible solution: a virtual auction that ensures our local ag kids can see their project through.

We realize transitioning from an in-person auction to a virtual one is complicated. To make it as easy as possible, we’ve created the 2020 Junior Livestock Virtual Auction Buyer’s Guide that we have just sent out to potential buyers.

In the guide, we explain:
  • How to register as a buyer
  • How to use the virtual auction platform to bid and buy
  • Pre-bidding on lots (starting Friday)
  • Auction order
  • Buyer’s options
  • Add-ons (August 15-22)
  • and more!

To watch this year’s Junior Livestock Virtual Auction, visit the website: bid.virtualstockshow.com and register. We recommend registering ahead of time. It will require you to create a user name, password, and then confirm your registration in your email. Be sure to save your login information for Saturday. Even if you don’t plan to buy, you will need to register.

Later this week we’ll be sending updates and information as it becomes available:
  • Champions from market shows
  • Auction sale order by exhibitor
  • More information regarding resale drop-off on Sunday, August 16

More to come!
