January 20, 2022

Students,

With a few exceptions, most classes at Wallace State Community College will transition to virtual learning and remote operations from January 21 through January 28, 2022, due to increasing COVID-19 infections and exposures on campus and in the community. Your instructor will communicate class expectations with you directly, including your schedule of class meetings and assignments. Please check your notifications in Blackboard as well as your Wallace State email frequently for updates. (If you encounter issues accessing Blackboard or email, please email the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@wallacestate.edu.)

The College will remain open during normal business hours to serve you next week. Please visit our Virtual Student Services webpage for departmental contact information. Staff will be available on campus, by appointment, and virtually. The Library and CafĂ© will be open during normal business hours. Please check the calendar of events for updates to scheduled events on campus.

Please be encouraged to get vaccinated, wear masks, wash and sanitize hands frequently, get tested if you have been exposed, follow Wallace State COVID reporting protocols, and stay home when sick. Detailed CDC Guidelines may be found here:

Thank you for joining in our efforts to keep our campus and community safe!
