BUTLER BEAR CLUB UPDATE
Butler Bear Clubs
Clubs run February 7 to March 19

Butler Bear Clubs Registration is formally closed for most activities (see below). Classes start the week of February 7. We’re at or near capacity for many of our classes. Watch for confirmation of registration and payment to come this week.

To run clubs on TUESDAYS, we still NEED a HALL MONITOR.

We are extending registration for the following clubs ONLY until Friday, January 21. If you’re interested, please email us. All other clubs are closed.

These clubs are at risk of not operating because of low enrollment:
  • Game Time (Monday, Grades 4-6)
  • Explore Science & Nature with Peace Valley (Tuesday, Grades K-3)
  • SkyZone (Thursday, Grades K-6)

These clubs have met their minimums and will run, but we will still accept late registration:
  • Flag Football (Tuesday, Grades 4*-6) New: Fourth graders are now allowed to enroll
  • Soccer (Wednesday, Grades K-6th)

You must email Butlerbearclubs@gmail.com by end of Friday, January 21.

2022 STUFF-A-MASCOT FUNDRAISER

What makes this different from last year’s bear?
The 2022 Edition of Butler’s Stuff-A-Mascot will include a different bear than last year along with a brand-new shirt design.

The price for each kit is $27.50. All orders must be placed on MyPaymentsPlus by February 5. Bears will be delivered to children the week of February 14.

**REMINDER - YOU MUST HAVE CLEARANCES TO VOLUNTEER
A friendly reminder - in order to volunteer in the classroom, you must have current volunteer clearances through CBSD. The process is EASY and all done online using the Volunteer Tracker App to track volunteer clearances. Every CB volunteer will need to register, and upload their clearances.

Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children obtain background checks and clearances. Click here for the required clearances, along with links to the state’s websites, which may be found on the CBSD website.

**Please note: Butler will follow the Health and Safety plan of the District. At this time, volunteers are limited for specific activities. All volunteer opportunities are subject to change based on District guidelines. You MUST have current clearances in order to volunteer. Click here for volunteer clearance information.
