PLEASE KEEP WIPES OUT OF OUR PIPES
With the increased use of wipes during the COVID-19 pandemic, please remember that your toilet should not be used as a trash can. Do not treat other items like toilet paper. Please do not flush paper towels, “flushable” wipes, napkins, tampons, cotton balls, dental floss or other substances. Flushing non-biodegradable items can result in backups and overflows. Please help us help you!
CITY HALL OPEN FOR BUSINESS WHILE FACILITIES ARE CLOSED TO PUBLIC
While City facilities are closed to the public, employees are continuing to provide services and are communicating by phone and online during normal business hours. Essential services such as police, fire and public works continue. Please visit elmhurst.org or call (630) 530-3000 to find alternate ways to conduct business with the City during this time.
METRA SERVICE CHANGES
Metra will begin operating an alternate weekday schedule on Monday, March 23, to adjust for the reduced number of riders due to school closures, work-from-home mandates and other consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. It will operate its normal weekend schedules this weekend on lines that have weekend service.

Giving DuPage Points Volunteers in the right direction during the COVID-19 Crisis
Giving DuPage serves as the DuPage County Volunteer Center, with a mission to promote giving and volunteering countywide. They have been contacting food pantries and other agencies around the area to see where the need is greatest. Please check out their website If you are interested in volunteering.
