After the Spokane Virtual office receives your approval email, watch for a confirmation email from SVL. The confirmation email is your notification that Spokane Virtual is reserving a spot for you in the requested course(s) for the upcoming semester. If you have any questions, please contact the SVL office at 354-7545 or svl@spokaneschools.org. All students will be entered into courses based on the order that SVL receives their completed registration paperwork.
AP Testing Schedule: AP Exams will be administered May 18-28. This year due to COVID, College Board has added flexibility in the exam calendar and Spokane Public Schools has opted to have most exams taken at home on a computer. College Board does require some exams to be administered in-person due to special technology requirements and the difficulty of some exams (math and science) working in a digital format. The exams in blue will be taken at home on a computer and the exams in yellow will be proctored at LC (all rooms will follow district social distance and safety guidelines).

We will have more information soon on the details of testing, but for now, here are actions you can take to ensure that you are ready and signed up for the correct exam:

  • College Board Account: Because most tests are online, you will need to be able to easily access your College Board account. Go to: https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/ to make sure you can get in. If you do not remember your CB login/password, you will need to contact them directly as we do not have access to that information. Be sure to write down your username/password as you will need it for testing.

  • Payment: If you have an outstanding balance on your AP Exams, please pay ASAP through the Business Office or the online payment portal on www.lctigers.com - we will need all exams paid for before the testing window begins. Contact our Business Office if you need assistance in the process (354-6880).

  • Canceling and Exam: please go to your College Board account to verify which tests you are taking. If you need to cancel an exam, email Theresa Meyer ASAP to begin the process of canceling and processing a refund. There is NO fee for cancellation and you will receive a 100% refund if you have already paid.

FAFSA: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now OPEN! It is highly recommended that all LC Seniors file the FAFSA. It is the first step in getting financial aid -- including grants, scholarships, work study, and loans - from any college, technical school, or career training program. Go to to www.fafsa.gov. In order to file the FAFSA, both the parent and student must first create FSA IDs. Learn more about FAFSA by reading 101: FAFSA. Do you need help with filing out your FAFSA? We have a great video resource for you from the Washington Student Achievement Council - FAFSA Line by Line - this video will point out common mistakes, tell you the information you will need to complete the FAFSA, and walk you through every single line in the application. You can also reach out to Mr. Norton for help on FAFSA, college apps, and scholarships!
Senior Remind Group: Seniors are encouraged to join the Senior Remind Text Group to receive updates through out the year on college deadlines, scholarships, college visits, the high school & beyond plan, and more. To receive messages via text, send a new text to the number: 81010 and in the message, enter this as the message: @lchsccr-21
SAT School Day for Juniors Update: In consultation with the Spokane Regional Health Department’s guidance and each high school principal, it was decided to cancel the district’s SAT School Day administration this school year.

In prior school years the SAT School Day has been a valuable opportunity to support all students having as many post-secondary options as possible. This school year there has been some understandable shifts from colleges and the following are important points to consider:

Students who still wish to take an SAT Saturday test should reach out to their counselor or Mr. Norton for more information on using waivers or getting financial support to cover the cost of an SAT test.
