Because Presbyterians love VBS Skits (and costumes)
The participants at First Presbyterian Church in Georgetown's Super Fruits VBS enjoyed their VBS time, including some funny skits put on by the leaders. We particularly love the 3-D cloud.

|
|
have joined together to provide free resources for congregations and pastors to celebrate College and Young Adult Sunday on August 8th. To access the complete worship service for Sunday (or any time of the church year), including prayers, a litany, music, sermon helps and illustrations, CLICK HERE. There you will also find each of the resources as Word documents that you and your congregations can easily use to cut and paste as you would like.
Over the last 18 months, we have learned about the profound need for Christian community to offer support and encouragement. This is especially true for young adults. Please feel free to use this resource in your newsletters and social media accounts to promote connecting your graduating seniors with a UKirk-network ministry at their college or university.

While Laurie, Melody, and Jeanne had RSV and not COVID (thankfully), this experience reminded our Stated Clerk that when it comes to COVID's resurgence, we are to be loving to our neighbor. It's a Godly, loving thing to do.

|
"I knew what to do when we stopped worshiping in person. I even knew what to do when we started back. But now I don't know what to do."
With the COVID surge being the #1 topic of conversation, Sallie urges caution, thoughtful consideration of upcoming events, and prayer for each other.

These are free to a good home, so if you know of someone that they may need them, please contact Kevin Ireland,

We are Mission Presbytery, serving Christ in the World. In the Reformed Tradition, together we,
- Establish and equip congregations and session to carry out their missions;
- Recruit, receive, ordain, develop, and care for those called to service in the church;
- Enable mission and witness to the Gospel that congregations cannot accomplish alone; and
- Steward our resources faithfully and generously.
We are better together.
