Same museum. Next level. The moment is now. Give to the MAX!

As we recover from the pandemic and reimagine our future, MMAM remains steadfast in its commitment to its mission-driven work - creating meaningful art experiences that explore the historic and ongoing relationship to water.

Well, we’ve reimagined, dreamed big, and are ready to move forward. Our vision for the future is ambitious and we want you to be part of it.

We are asking you, to go that extra step, on this Give to the Max day, and join the thousands of Minnesotans stepping up to bat for the nonprofits they love.
Marlena Myles Featured on Google Doodle

Marlena Myles was the featured artists on Google's homepage on November 1, reimagining the Google logo to honor the indigenous game of stickball. MMAM had the pleasure of having Marlena on site for a week this summer as an artist-in-residence, and we are excited to be working with her in 2023 to create an augmented reality arts experience at MMAM.

The Minnesota Marine Art Museum is excited to partner with the Winona Symphony Orchestra to bring you Water Music, evenings that marry two art forms and celebrate their shared inspiration.

Inviting audiences on an exploration of darker pools and deeper reflections, this program is a mediation on bravery in shadows of our human experience. Surrounded by the immersive art of Anne Labovitz and poignant music of living composers, the listener may experience a cathartic contemplation of our most introspective moods.
November 19, 2022 [10am-11:30am]

The Minnesota Marine Art Museum + River Arts Alliance are coming together to bring you a monthly informal artist exchange - a chance for artists and creatives from across a variety of mediums to gather for inspiration, exploration and exchange at the museum. Registration required.
