2022 Talking is Teaching

Let’s talk, read, and sing about COUNTING!

Your child is beginning to develop an understanding of math—even before she can say number words out loud.Counting with your young baby helps to build a solid foundation for future math skills like addition and subtraction.

Be Part of the Equa+tion

"Be part of the Equa+tion" is a new campaign created by Bedtime Math to encourage parents and caregivers to be a big part of their kids’ math teams from the very beginning.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, kids across the nation have fallen more than half a grade level behind in math skills. This is in addition to the two-thirds of eighth graders that were already behind before the pandemic. But many people, especially parents, are completely in the dark on this issue – an issue that could be affecting their child.

Doula Resources

Safe Journey

Local Doula Resources

"While most see a doula as not cost-effective or possibly not needed, we do more than just labor and birth support. We educate, bridge gaps, build relationships, show you the power you already possess as parents and support persons, and most of all, we support the family unit and their choices. We create a safe environment for dads to ask questions and feel equipped to fully support their partner/spouse during the childbearing year."
