SBA Disaster Loans Available
Businesses and residents affected by severe storms and flooding on May 18, 2020 can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. The SBA will not establish a field-presence but has opened a Virtual Disaster Loan Outreach Center to provide assistance. 

The application filing deadline for physical damage is August 28, 2020.
Sprinkler Ban
No Wake on Grand River
With high river levels, the importance of following the no-wake law is magnified exponentially. If you are out on the Grand River, please be aware that there is a No-wake Zone from the Township’s Board launch at 144 th Avenue downriver to about three-quarters of a mile past the entry to Pottawattomie Bayou.
Grand Rapids Water Plant - Solar Power
The City of Grand Rapids is looking to add solar panels at their water treatment plant in the Township. Dark blue would be ground mounted solar panels, light blue and pink would be roof mounted solar panels.

Grand Rapids staff will work with Community Development Director Fedewa on this proposal.
