Join the Committee on Women for their #LawMom Series
The Committee on Women and the Legal Profession is proud to bring back their #LawMom initiative. #LawMom is a label created by the Committee on Women and the Legal Profession in 2016 as a way to publicize events hosted by the Committee which focus on the struggle of having a legal career and managing parenting responsibilities.
The first #LawMom labeled event was a luncheon panel of working women lawyers with children of varying ages. The panel discussed the personal and professional challenges of parenting responsibilities while maintaining a legal career. The panel shared personal experiences and advice with the attendees. Given the additional challenges and stressors #LawMoms are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic, the CWLP would like to help you start the week off on a positive note by sponsoring #LawMom Mondays. The CWLP is planning short, 20 minute, virtual “lunchtime chats” where #LawMom hosts will invite panelists to share their working and parenting experiences. These lunchtime chats will be recorded so they may be viewed at your convenience.
