OSHA Postpones National Safety Stand-Down

New Dates for the Event to be Determined Sometime This Summer
OSHA postponed its annual event, National Safety Stand-Down, due to COVID-19. The event, which was initially scheduled for May 4-8, will be rescheduled sometime this summer, according to a March press release from OSHA. The event--which focuses on reducing falls in construction--relies heavily on in-person trainings and participation to spread the word on safer work environments.  With so many employees not reporting to their work sites or offices right now, the rescheduled dates will aid in greater, safer participation.
