10am Summer Services have begun!

10am Sunday Service | Everybody Loves Bishop Casey
Have you ever felt out-of-step with the world around you? Have you ever felt as if you were on the outside looking in at life? Are you unique, or does everyone feel this way at times?
Speaker: Peter House

We are cancelling in-person worship for the foreseeable future, and taking our worship experience completely online via Zoom. We will hold on-line services each Sunday at 10am (our regular summer time).
Upcoming Events &
Additional Announcements
Tuesdays | Drop-In Discussion: The Art of Persuasion
We're in a time when families and friends are sharply divided over issues of politics and religion. Phil Ebersole will lead a discussion on how to engage in respectful discussion and successful persuasion. You're invited to share experiences in which you have successfully (or maybe tried unsuccessfully) to bring someone over to your point of view or in which others have persuaded you. Or when you've seen someone else, maybe on TV or in a video, win someone over to their point of view.As the author says, this is a "fun game to play". Drop-In Discussions are back with a virtual spin! We are meeting on Tuesday night, from 6:30-7:30pm. Contact DropInDiscussion@uuroc.org for the Zoom link!

Calling All Musicians!
As we begin summer services this week, we are asking YOU to share your musical gifts. All voices and instruments are welcome. Participants should be able and willing to share their music from home. This can be done live over Zoom, or in the form of a pre-recorded performance. If you are interested and need an accompaniment track our music director can record one in advance. Please contact our Music Director, Brock Tjosvold, at music@uuroc.org for more information.

Help Our Summer Garden!
Call for garden watering. The front garden is blooming and we will need waterers starting in July. Please contact Sarah at garden@uuroc.org .

June 1 to July 31 | RAIHN Matching Donation Fund
Help support families in need! While congregations are closed due to COVID-19, RAIHN* is still supporting houseless families including housing some in a cost-efficient motel. Funds are needed to
support the effort. An anonymous donor will match up to $3000 in gifts to RAIHN made between June 1 and July 31. This will be a tremendous help to families in need. With enthusiastic support from the congregations who partner with us for RAIHN, and donations from you, we have already raised $2500! Please consider a
donation to help us reach our goal! To donate online, go here. In the “write a note” section under the donation amount please write “ RAIHN First Universalist”. Checks can also be made out to First Universalist with “ RAIHN First UU” on the memo line. Contact Marti Eggers, Ed Deller, Chris DeGolyer or Connie Valk for more details.
