Job Title      : Sales Manager and Consultant – Northwest China
Location      : Home office
Report to     : General Manager (China)
Subordinate : None at the present time
 
Target:
-      Deliver sales budget
-      Identifying, prioritizing and pursuing business opportunities throughout the territory
-      Sales activities and customer development
-      Offer consultancy on climate screens advice, and/or screen-cultivation related service to Greenhouse builders and growers.
-      Expansion and management of customers including end users
-      Implement and drive (International) Key Account Management structure.
-      Involved in setting, implementing and executing a business- and sales plan
-      Implementing marketing strategies
-      Work together with colleagues in other regions, according to the company philosophy.
-      Implement and monitor Value Based Selling activities.
Responsibilities:
Northwest of China Sales and consultant starting from focusing on Shaaxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Xinjiang provinces, managing customers, and achieving company’s sales target in the region.
Including:
-      Develop projects
-      Develop end users
-      Achieve the sales target of this region for the company.
-      Offer Climate Screen Advice to customers.
-      Host and support Marketing events in this area
-      Keep and develop key account customers
-      Be in line with the company’s strategic business plan in the region.
-      Right processing of quotes and orders.
-      Right processing of offering climate screen advice.
-      Prepare business plan, sales reports and realistic forecasts.
-      Analysis of market and customers, and translate into actions.
-      Implementation of Key Account management & value-based selling.
-      Coordination of aftersales, sales, Marketing, other consultants, coordinator, supply chain and finance.
 
Expectations:
-      Create sales, from finding the business leads to closing the deal.
-      Explore new business segment opportunities.
-      Provide consultancy on climate screens to customers
-      Develop the market, set up trials/ demonstration projects and sell.
-      Align processes and communication
-      Provide detailed market and competition information.
-      Bring ideas for business growth and -improvement.
-      Be a non-hierarchical leader, lead projects and drive change
-      Sparring partner for GM. Other Area Sales Managers and international colleagues
 
Qualification:
-      Education: BA or BS degree in horticulture, agriculture.
-      Minimum of 5-10 years of sales management experience and proved successful marketing and sales in B2B. From plan to close.
-      Target oriented and persistent
-      Entrepreneurial drive – plenty of initiative. Open for new business opportunities. Hands on approach.
-      Key account management experience
-      Ability to quickly develop rapport and business relationships. Being able to connect with both workers and management level.
-      Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
-      Team player, able to actively work with Sales and Market, Production, Supply chain, Finance, and global project team members.
-      Computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel; familiar with CRM- and ERP tools
-      Fluency in English (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
-      Willing and able to travel at least 35-40% of time. 
 
Optional:
-      MBA degree
-      Horticultural, Agriculture working experience
-      Consulting, design and installation background or experience
-      Project management skills
