Upcoming Book Discussion
Virtual Book Club
Catch up with our library's Virtual Book Club this week on our  Facebook page . This week, we focus on the novel The Wife by Alafair Burke.

How far will a wife go to protect the man she loves? When Angela met Jason Powell while catering a dinner party in East Hampton, she assumed their romance would be a short-lived fling. To her surprise, Jason, a professor at NYU, had other plans, and they married the following summer. For Angela, the marriage turned out to be a chance to reboot her life and move with her son, where no one knew of her troubled past. Six years later, accusations start to arise about Jason, placing Angela near the spotlight she worked so carefully to avoid. Angela chooses to believe Jason, but when one of the women accusing him disappears, Angela is forced to take a closer look at the man she married and the women she chose not to believe. You can find  The Wife for download on one of our free online streaming services like Hoopla or  Libby .
