Celebrating our Seniors!
#ResSenior2020

We kicked-off our celebrations for the Class of 2020 on Monday, April 21st when Resurrection Principal Dr. Richard Piwowarski visited the homes of two outstanding seniors with a surprise announcement to inform them they had been named Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

Watch the video below that captures their surprise.
Congratulations to Valedictorian Rosemary Mullaghy and Salutatorian Shuru Wang!

On April 22nd we were pleased to announce that the Class of 2020 Graduation has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Holy Name Cathedral. While ceremonies may take on a different look and feel compared to years past, and may be subject to change depending on social distancing guidelines at the time, we are looking forward to this joyful occasion!

E-Learning Success

The last day of in-person learning for Resurrection students, and many students throughout our region, was Friday, March 13, 2020. With tools already in place, Resurrection was able to make a successful transition to e-learning starting on Monday, March 16, 2020. With ongoing modifications for these unprecedented times we continue to offer a robust curriculum, delivered in a measured and responsive manner to provide a quality educational experience for our students.

Our staff members have worked collaboratively with students and families to ensure that are fulfilling our mission and commitment to provide our young women with the strongest, Catholic education.  Check out some of our e-learning success and our response to the on-going pandemic.  We are grateful for the grace, flexibility and resourcefulness of the members of our community!

Athletic Camps

Unfortunately, the decision has been made to cancel Summer Athletic Camps for current students and incoming freshmen. Summer leagues for current Resurrection teams may still occur and information will be shared if and when details become available from facilities that typically host summer leagues. Athletic camps for girls in grades 5 to 8 are being rescheduled for the fall. Details will be shared when they are finalized.

Varsity Softball Demonstrates Bandit Pride

The Resurrection 2020 Varsity Softball made this video to celebrate their Bandit Pride, despite the stay-at-home order keeping them all off the softball fields. Check it out below & GO BANDITS!

Supporting Our Students

Resurrection staff have been amazing in their creative outreach to students during this time, with a Virtual Spirit Week organized our our Enrollment staff, online prayers and resources from Campus Ministry, weekly guidance from our Counselors with reminders about self-care, video messages from our staff, reminders from the Dean about keeping connections to teachers and classmates strong as students continue to engage in remote learning, and so much more!

Check out our video message from staff to our students below!

Junior "Prom" TikTok

The Junior Class may have missed their Junior Prom last weekend due to the stay-at-home order, but check out this TikTok video created by some of our Juniors as they celebrated in their own way, getting dressed to mark the day as they practiced social distancing and dressed for fun.

THANK YOU to the Juniors Class Officers, members of the Class of 2021, and Class Moderator Ms. Montanile for this awesome video!
