Celebrating Middle School Head,
Kim Kyte!
Middle School Head Kim Kyte is retiring at the end of this school year. She will be truly missed and we want to say thank you for her 40 years of teaching boys at Allen-Stevenson. We are creating a memory book, incorporating quotes from students, faculty, staff, parents and alumni to help send her off in style with our deep appreciation for all she has done for the A-S community.

If you would like to include a quote or memory in this book, please email your message to communications@allen-stevenson.org by April 26, 2021. Photos
are also welcome and can be sent via Wetransfer.com.
Our students across all grades have continued to excel in Academics, Athletics and the Arts. Take a look below to see what our students have been learning this year!

A few weeks ago, our Kindergarten students celebrated the 100th Day of School. Our kindergarteners honored the day through activities that used sets of 100 objects ranging from footsteps and sit-ups to popsicle sticks.
Our fourth graders have been participating in a Mesopotamia simulation, which incorporates art, history, debate, economics, agriculture, and problem-solving skills. The boys are split into groups of governing bodies to work together to dominate a fertile, vital region in the year 3000 BC.
Eighth graders put their hypotheses to the test during a lab that examined how mass and velocity work together to create momentum. They answered the question 'Who will have the greatest forward momentum while running?'
