Message from the President of Cardinal Ritter

Dear Raider Alumni,

What a great fall this has been. It has been wonderful to have celebrated so many reunions here and see so many alumni at our homecoming game.

Our annual alumni golf outing was a huge success with so many of you in attendance as well.

We have many of our alumni activities highlighted in this edition of our alumni newsletter but would love to continue to receive more info from you i.e. wedding, births, jobs, etc. Please don’t hesitate to send in any exciting news you might have to share.

We are currently working on our next set of reunions so if you have one coming up or would like to help plan one please reach out to us.

This year’s Annual Fund Dinner was “The Fantastic Journey”.

Please take a minute to check out our photo gallery below.

We have included our revised alumni by-laws for your perusal. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding the new ones.

Our annual fund is off to a great start. Please check HERE to hear a message from our Board Chair Steve Schelonka regarding this year’s annual fund. Please help us continue the journey for the next group of future Raiders.

God Bless

Message from the President of the Alumni Association

Hello fellow alumni,

My class just celebrated our 25 year reunion. It was great to see so many classmates and catch up. We also had the opportunity to tour the school. If you haven’t seen the new main entrance it

really is something! You should plan a visit soon.

Having the annual alumni golf outing coincide with Homecoming weekend keeps one of the major goals of the event, beyond fellowship, in the forefront. This event allows us to award alumni legacy scholarships. Not only do the golfers have fun, they renew these annual scholarships so they can go to deserving students. I am thankful for all participants, sponsors, volunteers, and staff who work to put this each year. It takes everyone for this to be a success. We were able to award four alumni legacy scholarships at the Homecoming game.

As alumni we are called to show support of each other and to celebrate one another. This newsletter is meant to inform fellow alumni of the great things you are doing but remember we need your help in order to do so! What you have been up to? Fill us in on your travels, life experiences, achievements, volunteer work, etc. You can submit news directly at www.cardinalritter.org/alumni-newsletter/. If you see a former classmate too humble to toot their own horn, share it for them!

Message from the CRHS Alumni Coordinator

Hello,

Hey Cardinal Ritter Alumni, this year we celebrate the classes of 1972, 77, 82, 87, 92, 97, and 2012. We have had many alumni attend 5 reunions so far and we are getting ready for 92, and 2012. I have been so impressed with the turnout of 72, 77, 82- (my Class), and 97!….We have had wonderful times and have reminisced about many things….seen the additions to the school, and have shared great memories and enjoyed each other. Social media doesn’t replace shaking hands and hugging an actual classmate. I am looking forward to the other classes yet to come. If you haven’t RSVP’d to your reunion that hasn’t happened yet, please go on our website at Cardinalritter.org and go to the alumni tag and find your class Facebook page and sign up. If the class is having their reunion offsite from the school, look on Facebook

to see where and when it is, and if you have any questions you can email me at

jmelton@cardinalritter.org. I am present at every reunion whether at the school or off-site to help facilitate whatever needs you have.

We just had our annual alumni golf outing on Saturday September 24 th the day after our Homecoming football game, where our alumni enjoyed great food and camaraderie. Many people attended and we had a great time….and we look forward to seeing more of you there next year, so please try to come out and support our Raiders!

Please help us update our Alumni database with correct information so we can keep up with you on upcoming events and what great things our alumni here at Cardinal Ritter are doing. We would love to hear about your accomplishments, as well as your children’s….their families…..everything we can brag about from our family here at Cardinal Ritter, and it is very important part about keeping CRHS in the know. We do and have done great things here at Cardinal Ritter and we want people to know about it! Again you can reach me at:

 jmelton@cardianalritter.org. or crhsalumni@cardinalritter.org,

to give us any updates that we can share with our group. We want to get our alumni participating and involved to increase awareness to all of the wonderful things happening at our alma mater.

There is a statement that always rings in my brain is “well, you know what I would do to make things better”, well now is the time to get involved! If you have wonderful ideas then……..DO! I love Cardinal Ritter High School, and we need all of our alumni base to get involved to continue what Cardinal Joseph E. Ritter stood for…”Miles Christi Sum”, I am a soldier of Christ! Sr. Rita ALWAYS told us “Good Better

Best, Never let it Rest, until the Good is Better, and the Better is Best!”

God Bless and Go Raiders!
