There are so many things going on at Bloomingdale Public Library this month!
The library will be closed on Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen Tuesday, September 7 with our normal hours.

The library is closed on Sundays through September 5.

Please note: The outdoor wi-fi will remain on during holiday closings and on Sundays throughout the summer. Access is free and is available 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.

Our Summer Reading Program ends this Saturday, July 31.

Historian Jim Gibbons will present the story of "The Sinking of the SS Andrea Doria" and how it collided in a thick fog with the MS Stockholm. Gibbons will take you through that terrible night of extreme tragedy that rocked maritime history!

Genealogy Club is back to meeting in person! Learn all about internet and archival genealogy and research support.

Expand your genealogy search from home with Ancestry Library, a research tool for genealogy and local history. Through it you can examine census data, the American Genealogical Biographical Index, and more. While typically only for in-library use, this service is available for home use for Bloomingdale Public Library Cardholders through September 30, 2021.

Come to the Youth Services desk to claim your surprise bag of comics, activities, and a craft! Available August 14-September 1, while supplies last.

Teens & Adults
Free comics will be available to grab and go from the display behind the Adult Reference desk. Stop in and help yourself! 3 comics per person, while supplies last.
