AriSEIA's News You Can Use
July 2, 2020
Good morning members,

It is hard to imagine, but the Arizona Primary Election is just a few short weeks away. Election day is August 4, 2020, but there are a few other very important dates leading up to the election. One of the most important dates is the deadline to register to vote, which is July 6, 2020 . If you have yet to register, or you need to update your voter registration, you may do so  here .

Important Dates for Arizona Primary Election:

  • Early voting starts: July 8, 2020
  • Last day to request an absentee ballot: July 24, 2020
  • Last day to request a mail-in ballot: July 24, 2020
  • Last day to mail in early ballots: July 29, 2020
  • Last day to vote early in person: July 31, 2020
  • Election Day: August 4, 2020 (voters who do not mail back their ballot by the July 29, 2020 deadline have until 7:00 pm on Election Day to drop of their ballot at their Country Recorder’s Office or any ballot drop-box or voting location in the county)

Many important seats will be determined in this year's primaries. To learn about each candidate, visit the Arizona Secretary of State website for information on  federal ,   state , and   legislative  candidates.

Please remember, one of the most simple and easy actions you can take is to vote. Voting helps ensure individuals who represent your views will be elected to office, and furthermore will pass policies that protect the solar industry and your business. If you have any specific questions on candidates, please do not hesitate to email me at  Nicole@ariseia.org, as I would be more than happy to discuss and provide insight.

Always at your service and happy voting,
Nicole LaSlavic
