Ebersole Rink at Delfino Park -
A Busy Hub of Wintertime Fun
Delfino Park at 110 Lake Street is the largest multi-use park in White Plains and bustles with activity all year round. The park features ball fields, playgrounds, racquet sport courts, and more.

And in winter the action centers around Ebersole Ice Rink, where skating lessons, hockey practices and games, and public skating sessions attract hundreds of skaters each day from early morning to late at night. Ebersole has a large warming room (currently with a capacity of 60 people), lockers, skate rentals, and snack bar.

A public session will be held on New Year's Day from 1:30 - 3:30 pm and public skating sessions will also be held throughout January, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. For complete information on session times and admission rates -- Click here for Ebersole Rink information. Please note that there are capacity limits at this facility at this time due to Covid, and the rink follows Covid Guidelines.
AT&T Property Transforming into Residential Units
In 1954 AT&T opened a state-of-art telecommunications tower and switching center at the corner of North Broadway and Hamilton Avenue. For years the 12-story tower has been part of the White Plains skyline and the six-story switching center was one of the busiest in the vast At&T system.

Now the site at 440 Hamilton Avenue is undergoing a dramatic transformation. The existing office building is being repurposed into a 255 residential unit mixed-use development with 3,400 square feet of ground floor retail. A 213 residential unit 7-story building and parking garage will be built on the existing surface parking lot behind the building on Barker Avenue.
In accordance with the City's Affordable Rental Housing program, this project will provide 37 units (8% of the total units) as affordable to those qualifying at 50% and 60% of the Westchester County Median Income (AMI).

Also included in the project is on-site open space for resident use, including a courtyard area and small lawn areas with outdoor seating. The project is anticipated to accommodate 835 new city residents. The project will result in a total recreation fee of $1,433,500 to be used exclusively for park, playground, and other recreational purposes.
