Makeover Monday - Pennsylvania house

MAKEOVER MONDAY

People that love pistachio ice cream might drool over the mint color but it's not for everyone. We have a variety accent pillows so that we can work with different wall colors. Those little gems help the decor tie into the wall color. The home went under contract in one day but I would still advise sellers to neutralize colors when they put their house on the market.

Lots of mint green in this good size family room.

AFTER

We happen to have a pattern chair with a chameleon green color. The accent pillows do the rest.

They had a small table in the dining area.

AFTER

I felt like this space could accommodate a larger table and more chairs.

There was an eating nook in the kitchen that became the holding area.

AFTER

In reality they may have needed the space, but when your home is on the market, you need to show buyers how the space was intended. I also extended the curtain out past the window so that it looked larger.

There was a large bonus space in the back of the house

AFTER

Since the home already had a very large family room, I thought a 2nd living space didn't make sense since they were right next to each other. Obviously the built-ins made for an office space.
