“SAFER AT HOME ORDER” EXTENDED TO MAY 15, 2020
It’s been a difficult month, as the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has disrupted daily life for people across our city. Many are worried about what it means for our lives, our livelihoods, and our loved ones. But what each of us does today will have a direct impact on what happens tomorrow. For our safety, and to mitigate the spread of this dangerous virus, Angelinos are now required to abide by the
Safer at Home Order until May 15, 2020

WEARING A MASK IS NOW RECOMMENDED BY MAYOR GARCETTI
Mayor Eric Garcetti, recently recommended that all Angelenos wear face coverings like scarves, bandanas or other cloth to help slow the spread of COVID-19. N95 and other medical-grade masks are reserved for medical workers. Garcetti said that the masks should be used only for essential trips outside the home, like buying groceries or picking up medicine, and that people should otherwise stay home.

Good news! As all of us love fresh produce, the
Alhambra Certified Farmers Market
, operated by the City of Alhambra, will remain open every Sunday, from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm. According to LA County Dept. of Public Health, "
In light of the need to ensure that fresh food is available to residents, outdoor Certified Farmer's Markets that are certified by the State of California and have obtained a health permit for a Certified Farmer's Market will be allowed to operate
."

, is now selling non-medical grade denim masks at $8/ per mask. The f
acemasks are approved by Kaiser Permanente guidelines and by the city of Los Angeles. These masks are 100% cotton, woven 6oz, made of polyester thread, and have no added coatings or treatments
