Dear Pastoral Assistants of Faith Formation,
|
|
We would like to start off by saying
THANK YOU for all of the hard work and dedication that you have provided and continue to provide each and every year! Especially, as we continue to navigate through such a challenging and ever changing time, this year has presented many challenges, notably during what could be said as the "busiest" times of the year with Rite of Election, First Communions, Confirmations, and so many other impactful events in our faith year. Your willingness and adaptability to modify faith formation classes, curriculum, staying in touch with your parish communities, and providing livestream Mass and resources is highly commended! We thank you for your diligence and continue to keep you and your parish communities in our thankful prayers.
At Home with Faith is a helpful
resource that families can access to assist them in staying connected to the faith while at home, unable to attend Mass and faith formation events as a community. Many parishes have linked it on their websites amid the COVID-19 stay at home mandate.

Ken Kron
We want to remember our friend and colleague Kenneth Kron who passed away peacefully and naturally on May 24th, 2020 at his home. He had a long battle with diabetes and he is now resting in Heaven. He was the Director of Faith Formation since 2010 at St. Cecilia Parish in Stanwood. He surely had passion for transmitting the Catholic faith to others. God bless him and keep Ken's family in your prayers.
