NJSA Pork Industry Career Round Table Facebook Live Chat

On Tuesday, June 23 the NJSA is hosting a free discussion round table on the NJSA Facebook page. Kylee Deniz with the National Pork Board will be discussing career opportunities in the swine industry, as well as interacting with attendees.

Clay Parrish Celebrates Two Years with the NSR

The NSR would like to congratulate Clay Parrish on being with the NSR for two years. Clay serves as the organization's Eastern Field Representative. Clay is responsible for working with NSR breeders in his region to promote Duroc, Hampshire, Landrace and Yorkshire seedstock and showpigs. 2021 NWSS Swine Show Update

The 2021 National Western Stock Show Junior Market Swine Show is going to be non-terminal. Hogs that make the sale and all other Junior Market Species will remain terminal.

2020 NSR Summer Type Conference and NJSA National Junior Show

The 2020 NSR Summer Type Conference and NJSA National Junior Show will be held July 6-11, 2020 in Des Moines, Iowa. For health rules and regulations, click HERE . The deadline to record STC and NJS litters and make transfers without rush fees is Wednesday, June 24. All NJSA scholarship recipients will be announced Wednesday, July 15 at 2 p.m. Eastern Time via Facebook Live on the NJSA Facebook page. For all NJS show information, click HERE . NJSA National Junior Show Contest Information

All information regarding NJSA National Junior Show Contests can be found HERE . Details regarding contests registration will be made on Thursday, June 25. The NJSA Virtual Skillathon Contest will open on Monday, June 29 and close Tuesday, June 30 at midnight Eastern Time. There will be a separate contests and separate links for the Novice, Junior, Intermediate and Senior Divisions. Links will be available on Monday, June 29 HERE . The NJSA and Team Purebred National Junior Show Virtual Livestock Judging Contest will open Monday, June 29 and close Friday, July 3. The contest will be held on Judge 2 Win . In order to be eligible for NJSA Sweepstakes Awards, exhibitors MUST compete in both the NJSA Virtual Skillathon Contest and NJSA and Team Purebred Virtual Livestock Judging Contest. NJSA and Team Purebred National Junior Show Trailer Spot Auction

On Wednesday, June 24 the NJSA and Team Purebred will be selling 50 premier spots in the National Junior Show trailer unloading line. These premier spots allow you to arrive to the fairgrounds right as the unloading process begins, but still be one of the first 50 trailers in the barn. Bid and purchase your trailer spot on Showpig.com/The Pig Planet on Wednesday, June 24.
