Eagle Glen Elementary School students in grades 3-5 recently participated in a Google Meet with Author Sarah Mlynowski. She discussed the process of writing, and each student received a copy of "Upside Down Magic" to keep. The opportunity was made possible by proceeds from previous book fairs. This is Marisa Moylan's fifth grade class.
After-school tutoring to begin for grades 6-12
After-school tutoring  in math, science, and English Language Arts begins Wednesday, Nov. 11, and Thursday, Nov. 12, at the high school and both middle schools.

In a recent survey about the current school year, many parents expressed their desire for additional academic intervention for students.

The tutoring is available from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays for A-day students and Thursdays for B-day students at the high school and middle schools.

High School
Students may be assigned to After-School Panther Tutoring by their classroom teachers. Tutoring is also available to students on an optional basis, by request. A testing room will be available for freshmen and sophomores to make up missed assessments.

Students who need bus transportation must request to be added to the transportation list by the Monday that precedes that week's tutoring. In addition, students must stay in tutoring until 4:30 p.m. to receive a bus pass from one of the tutoring staff.

Middle School
At the middle school level, the program is called PAWS Tutoring, which stands for Practicing Academics With Support. Usually, teachers will initiate the PAWS support for students. The program offers students support while working on academics. Bus transportation is available, or car riders should be picked up by 4:40 p.m.
If you have a question about after-school tutoring, call the school office.
Students: ViPR to In-Person or In-Person to ViPR?

Do you want to request for your student to move from In-Person to ViPR or ViPR to In-Person?

Deadline
Please make your requests no later than Dec. 4 in order for your student to be considered for a change of placement at the start of 2nd semester. While every attempt will be made to grant the requests, no guarantees can be made until all requests are received.  Entry will be based on class size and teacher availability.

For grades K-5:
Email the attendance secretary at your child's school of residence to request an eForm. Please complete the eForm no later than Dec. 4.
For grades 6-12:
Please submit your request by email to the designated contact below.
