Vincent Martin is a murderer… 100 days into his last parole, he ambushed and executed Richmond Police Officer Michael P. Connors. Nearly 25 years of parole hearings kept him off Virginia’s streets, including the 2019 denial of parole due to his violent nature and long criminal record.
Today he walks the streets of Richmond a free man,[1] because in 2020 the Democrats in Richmond began siding with criminals.
During a secret Parole Board hearing, Democrat members voted for his immediate release. They ignored members of the Richmond Police, all evidence of his crime, and even the victim’s family. Even later claiming twice convicted murderer Vincent Martin… “a trusted leader, peacemaker, mediator and mentor…”[2] Absolutely disgusting.
But then the coverup began…
-
It started with an investigation by the State Inspector General finding misconduct, wrongdoing, and even crimes committed by the Parole Board.
-
Then Attorney General Mark Herring deleted, “substantial sustained facts” and half of the report outlining that wrongdoing and even crimes.[3]
-
If that wasn’t enough, Jennifer Moschetti, the lead investigator and whistleblower, is now facing retaliation after bringing these crimes to light. Even being interrogated by the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Clark Mercer.[4]
-
Governor Northam, claims he doesn’t know anything about the crimes, coverup and scandal in his administration…
The Virginia Project has been been focused on uncovering corruption in Richmond since day one. We need to know who in the Northam Administration knew what, when they knew it, and if they committed any crimes or wrongdoing, they must be held accountable.
