CATECHESIS & DAILY INSPIRATION
The Hieromartyr Timothy, Bishop of Brussa (362)
Reflections and Daily Inspiration
"God is perfect, He is faultless. And so, when Divine love becomes manifest in us in the fullness of Grace, we radiate this love --- not only on the earth, but throughout the entire universe as well. So God is in us, and He is present everywhere. It is God’s all-encompassing love that manifests itself in us. When this happens, we see no difference between people: everyone is good, everyone is our brother, and we consider ourselves to be the worst of men --- servants of every created thing."

Wisdom from Elder Thaddeus (+2003)

Be the Bee #70

Christ took on all that is ours so that we can have all that is His. One of those blessings is the ability to call God the Father our Father. That doesn't just affect the way we relate to God; it affects how we relate to all people, our brothers and sisters in Christ.

SAINT OF THE DAY

 JUNE 23 / JUNE 10
The Hieromartyr Timothy, Bishop of Brussa (362)
Because of Timothy’s great spiritual purity, God granted him the gift of working miracles, and he cured all diseases and afflictions of the people. During the reign of the wicked Emperor Julian, who denied Christ, St. Timothy was cast into prison. Even in prison the faithful visited him in order to listen to the wise instruction of their archpastor. Learning of this, Julian ordered the executioner to behead Timothy in prison, in the year 362. His soul departed to Paradise, while his relics have remained miracle-working, to help the people and to manifest the power of God.
