2022-2023 Academic Year Guidance from SEVP

Contrary to what we sent as anticipated Fall 2022 Guidance on 4/1, NOTHING will be changing for 2022-2023 Academic Year.

Academic Year 2022-23 Course Requirements
STARTING FALL 2022 TERM

  • As stated in the March 2020 guidance, Active F and M students will be permitted to temporarily count online classes toward a full course of study in excess of the regulatory limits stated in 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(f)(6)(i)(G) and 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(m)(9)(v) for the 2022-23 academic year. The March 2020 guidance applies to continuing F and M nonimmigrant students.
What it means:
  • Current F-1 students may again take a hybrid or fully online course schedule for Academic Year 2022-23

  • NEW FALL 2022 F-1 students MUST take 1 face to face/flexible delivery class for Fall 2022
Nearly 1,700 students will graduate at Wright State’s spring commencement ceremonies

Graduating students come from 27 states. The class includes 91 international students from 23 countries. India boasts the largest number of international graduates with 39.

Speaker Series: The U.S.-Mexico Binational Relationship
In the following weeks, the U.S. Embassy in Mexico, USA StudyAbroad, and COMEXUS (Fulbright Comission in Mexico) will be hosting a Speaker Series: The U.S.-Mexico Binational Relationship, directed at U.S. college students and professors. This series features some of Mexico's leading experts on bilateral issues like migration, gender, human rights, and the environment —including many Fulbright-García Robles alumni. These talks will take place over Zoom several times a week, from April 25 to May 9, at 4:00 pm (Central Time).

The event honors the upcoming bicentennial of diplomatic relations between the United States and Mexico, connecting university students with these important themes and encouraging them to look into study and research in Mexico.
