CONNECTED IN THE DEEP
We invite you to join us for an inquiry into the field of connections: feeling connected, connecting with ourselves, with others, with nature... This is such a relevant topic, especially in these times.
The purpose for these Community World Cafes is to offer a space for the community to be in conversation about what matters to us.
Come - let’s take some time in community to sense into this moment and together see what might emerge from it.
"We are like islands in the sea,
separate on the surface but connected in the deep.”
~ William James
We focus on different topics in each monthly Community Cafe. This month, we are hosting "Learning Cafe", which provides a short "meta-commentary" at different points in the World Cafe process to help understand how and why it works.
We host a "Learning Cafe" like this once a year as part of the annual World Cafe Hosting Fundamentals course at Fielding. This year we will be joined by participants in a special World Cafe Hosting Fundamentals course dedicated to change efforts in Florida's St Petersburg community.
We'll also be joined by youth and educators from at least two more Universities, so not only will this be a Learning Cafe, it will be an inter-generational "Wiser Together" Cafe.

These Community Cafes are for everyone.
This online Community Cafe is part of an ongoing series we host every month with and for the World Cafe community and for the Central Garden of participatory practices.
These Cafes offer us all an opportunity to get to know one another, learn from our diversity, and weave the web of our global perspective as an international community.
You'll find more information about the Community Table on our website.
