FOWH CORONAVIRUS UPDATES
MAY 11, 2020
Dear Patient of FOWH,

Effective May 18, 2020 we are resuming normal office hours Monday to Friday and we are also resuming well-woman exams and pap smears.

Previously booked appts are still on the schedule, so openings may be limited for a while. We will monitor the number of appt requests. If necessary, we may extend our hours by opening earlier or staying open later.

All existing restrictions, safety and hygiene practices remain in effect. All patients (and staff) are expected to wear a mask at all times while in the office. All patients are screened for their temperature before entering the office. Nobody with a fever (Temp > 99) or other symptoms of possible COVID will be allowed to enter the office.

Visitors (Updated Policy)
Due to our small (space-challenged) exam rooms, we are not able to provide proper distancing for visitors. We are sorry, but with increasing traffic to the office, we must do everything possible to minimize possible exposures.

Therefore, effective now, we are not allowing visitors for prenatal exams, ultrasound exams, or other ob/gyn visits. Exceptions for special circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis. You may FaceTime or audio connect a guest during your exams as you wish.

Thank you for you understanding and cooperation.
FOWH Resumes Pap Smear Testing
Cancer screening with a pap smear is an important preventive measure and hundred of our patients have been delayed from having this important medical test.

To help limit the number of people in our waiting room, we have a new procedure using text messaging to communicate to you when we are ready for you to check-in for your appointment. Click here to read about our new Text Messaging Appointment Notification process or see below.
TEXT MESSAGING APPOINTMENT NOTIFICATIONS
The day before your appt. you will receive this text message. When you arrive for your appt. and park, reply to the text with the word "ARRIVED".
For a Monday appt. this text message will be sent the Friday before. When you arrive for your appt. and park, reply to the text with the word "ARRIVED".
We will send you this final text which asks you to wait in your car (or nearby the office) until we send "READY". When we send "READY", please make your way to the office.
