Business Beyond the Classroom Speaker Series
Are you a budding entrepreneur? Then, be sure to check out the Business Beyond the Classroom Speaker Series events that are scheduled this semester. The next event is on Wednesday, October 19 at 5pm and features the local bakery Puff 'N' Stuff. And, a LinkedIn workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, November 2 at 7pm. Free Produce Day
Stop by the Student Union Building in the Commons on Thursday, October 20 from 12 to 3pm and pick up some free produce. This event is hosted by the DVC Food Pantry and funded by generous donations to our DVC Foundation. Learn more.

Basic Needs
Do you need assistance with housing, food, wellness/medical resources, or online learning? We can help! Just complete our confidential survey and we'll connect you to the appropriate services and resources.

DVC Food Pantry
Hungry? Stop by the DVC Food Pantry in the Student Union Building and meet Richard Stanfield, our new program assistant, and our student workers. Get snacks, bagged groceries, or self-serve. The DVC Food Pantry is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 am-4:30 pm this fall. Learn more.

Disability Support Services
If you have a disability and would like academic support services, please sign up with the Disability Support Services (DSS) office. We serve students with many types of disabilities including anxiety, depression, ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum, and short-term conditions (including long COVID and pregnancy). All you need is some documentation of your condition. To learn more, come to the DSS Office (SSC 248) or visit DVC DSS.

October Mental Resilience Challenge
There is still time to enhance your mental health and earn prizes by participating in the October Mental Resilience Challenge.
